Research trends of the knowledge-based economy: A bibliometric study

Purpose: In recent years, the Knowledge-Based Economy (KBE) has been an emergent field related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). current business models, organizations need be part of digital transformation create value for customers, which caused increase in number scientific publications on KBE. This study aims analyze research trends literature KBE published between 1986 2021. Design/methodology: A bibliometric analysis was conducted using Scopus database.
